A Warm Welcome to Practicing Love.

Happy start of the month and welcome to this journey of love on which we are embarking together.

My name is Sally and I feel infinitely grateful to have you here and for your interest in this practice. I started meditating consistently a few years ago with the hope of healing my nervous and immune systems after a scary medical diagnosis. Not only did I reach that goal after a year of practice but, as usually happens with meditation, it brought me so much more.

There might be many different reasons why you would want to start practicing unconditional love in your meditations:

  • To develop self-love as a way to be happier in your life, treat yourself better, improve your health, and move away from a scarcity mindset.
  • To have better relationships with others, resolve a lot of the anger or hate we often carry in our minds and bodies, and be more compassionate and calm in difficult situations.
  • To spend a greater amount of time in vibrations of love throughout your day, which are high vibrations that instantly benefit you and all beings around you (yes, even your pets).
  • Maybe you have already noticed that many things that are going wrong in our world are filled with hate, anger, competition, and aggression and you are coming to the realization that (as cheesy as it might sound), love might be the only way to move forward differently.
  • Or maybe you struggle to be more loving in your life and you need a way to practice safely and expand your heart, privately, before you bring that into the world.

Or maybe you have another wonderful reason and I would really love to hear it. Feel free to reply to this email to let me know.

Congratulations on wanting to work on yourself. Congratulations on seeing the words "Love is a practice" and being curious enough to subscribe. Don't take this for granted. Our brains are designed to repeat what we already do and know to save energy. You are trying something new, and that is worth acknowledging and rejoicing in it.

Every Friday in February, I will send you an email with a little introduction (which is important to read, right before practice if you can) and a link to listen to and download a love meditation. Each week, I'll make a little adjustment to the same meditation which will help us expand our love in the safety of our bodies and minds.

If you have any questions or want to share any needs or realizations at any time, please do so. This is not a big company or a big AI machine behind these emails, it's me, Sally :) and I'll love to hear from you and help you with this practice as much as possible.

From my heart to yours,

Sally

LOVE MEDITATION 24.2.23 LOVING OTHERS Happy Friday! Here we are, at the end of a loving journey. An end that isn't the end at all, just an introduction to what the love meditations can do for you, your life, the lives of others, and even the entire planet. You might think I'm exaggerating. But think again. At the beginning of the war in Ukraine, my teacher Hector Marcel gave a class on what we could do about it from a Buddhist perspective. He said that if anyone had the power to have an...

LOVE MEDITATION 10.2.23 CONSISTENT SELF-LOVE Hello! Sally here, sneaking some love into your long list of emails on this second Friday of February. I hope this email finds you well and excited to jump into the second meditation of the love series we are working on this month. I invite you to take a moment, and think about how you treat yourself and others when you don't love yourself too much. You know, those times when you feel weak, uninspired, hopeless, sad, or angry with yourself. Those...
