LOVING OTHERS

Happy Friday!

Here we are, at the end of a loving journey. An end that isn't the end at all, just an introduction to what the love meditations can do for you, your life, the lives of others, and even the entire planet.

You might think I'm exaggerating. But think again.

At the beginning of the war in Ukraine, my teacher Hector Marcel gave a class on what we could do about it from a Buddhist perspective. He said that if anyone had the power to have an impact on the war we should go ahead and do it. Meaning: donating money, sending resources, helping refugees, etc. But the other way to really help stop all wars in the world, forever, is to stop all wars in your life.

Because where do wars really come from? They come from angry people. Selfish people. People who have no love in their hearts for others.

Have you ever been angry yourself? done something selfishly? or lacked love towards another person? We all have. Then we are all perfect candidates to make wars.

It is hard to not get angry, to not be selfish or to love everyone. We have been programmed to feel that we have the right to act and feel the opposite. But let's look at the state of the world with honesty. Is this serving us? is this serving the planet? Will wars ever end wars? Will more violence ever end violence?

Only peace can bring peace. And love, create more love. So let's use meditation to re-programme our mind-software to choose love. Always. it will take time. That's why daily practice is so important. But if you've ever seen someone respond with a smile when faced with aggression, you know it's possible.

If you'd like to keep practicing these meditations, I made a PLAYLIST to make them more easily accessible. Feel free to share it.

I will soon be in touch with more news about an adventure I'm about to go on soon. I'd love you to join me.

Have an excellent weekend.

Much Love,
Sally

LOVE MEDITATION 10.2.23 CONSISTENT SELF-LOVE Hello! Sally here, sneaking some love into your long list of emails on this second Friday of February. LOVE MEDITATION 3.2.23 LOVE YOURSELF Hello! And happy Friday to you.We will start this series of four love meditations with one dedicated to loving ourselves. More concretely a self in the past that needed that love and could not have it. But this is not the kind of self-love that is commercially sought after or that can dangerously step into full-blown individualism. The love for ourselves that we will implement in the first few meditations in this series, is about loving myself so that I...
